Vehicle-mounted road surface sensor MetRoadMobile

Non-contact real-time road surface condition measurement while driving.

MetRoadMobile is a sensor that measures road surface conditions in real-time while driving, using a non-contact method. By measuring the reflection of multi-wavelength infrared lasers from the road surface, it can identify surface roughness, as well as water, snow, and ice on the road. Before accidents such as slipping due to road freezing or wear occur, road maintenance and monitoring can be conducted over a wider area by equipping vehicles rather than relying on fixed points. By combining it with GPS and other technologies, it is possible to capture the road surface conditions as a distribution map, allowing road managers to perform maintenance in the appropriate locations.

Road surface sensor "DSC111"

We will measure water and ice separately and accurately report the road conditions.

The "DSC111" is a road surface sensor that can accurately measure the thickness of water, ice, and snow using optical measurement principles. Since it is non-contact, there is no need to groove the road or close the road when installing road weather monitoring systems. As an additional feature, it includes visibility measurement, which can detect poor visibility conditions by measuring meteorological optical range (MOR). 【Features】 ■ Remote sensing of road surface conditions ■ Detailed identification of road surface conditions using optical measurement principles ■ Measurement of grip coefficient ■ Visibility measurement ■ Accurate and stable measurements unaffected by traffic volume *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
